Why individual meetings with city councilers? Why not just meet the city council as a group?

I agree with 27_Year_Resident. Pound sand Naysayers! Lets look to the future and forget about the past. Get over it - the city is getting better every day.

Mr. Trotter:

We need experienced executives like you to help guide us over the next 4 years - especially in keeping taxes under control.

Not just the Marco taxes, but the taxes imposed by the county and the school district.

Best of luck.

The asbestos issue is fake .... the sewer issue is phony ... the recall is spurious. Some people on Marco Island need to get on with their retirements. Enjoy a beautiful island that is only getting better. Try fishing!

Too bad this recall effort does not die a quick death. It is completely baseless and a waste of time and money. This is sponsored by backward people who are only interested in slowing progress. The main benefit of the sewers will be to increase our property values.

The recall effort was a complete waste of time and money. How did Marco get to be such a disrupted community, that we have to go through these ridiculous and unfounded efforts? Those that do not want to see the city improved should cash in their chips and leave.

Marco is in the process of being upgraded to a world class destination and we have disgruntled people who would rather let the city crumble around them - not to mention that their properties have gone up in price by 5 or 10 times in the last few years.

Hooray for the city council that is continuing to work to improve the property values on Marco!
