Naples couple goes to Auschwitz


Visitors walk along the railroad tracks of “no return” at the Auschwitz Nazi death camp. Once inside, visitors saw articles left behind by victims more than 60 years ago.

The luggage room at Auschwitz stores unclaimed suitcases of people sent to the death camp. Inside the room, the Steinhouse’s located luggage of their former housekeeper’s father Julius Levi, who died at Auschwitz.

The Steinhouse’s visited Berlin to see the death ramp exhibit. The ramp was often the last time that family members ever saw each other. Wives and husbands were separated as well as children from their parents.
