The month of October has taken off with a bang.

The cycling classes are a huge hit with the members. Shiny new bikes, a colorful cycling room and two instructors bursting with enthusiasm, all have contributed to the members and others just loving the classes.

Jen and Stacy have a program set up that will challenge the more experienced biker but will give the novice cyclist the training needed to advance in the class. The class schedule varies so stop in at the Y to pick up yours. Come on out and try a class today and bring a friend.

Boo at the Zoo registration continues. This is a unique program open to only 40 children .The kids in grades second through fifth get to spend a day at the Naples Zoo in Halloween costume and have a fun-filled exciting day. Boo at the Zoo is scheduled from 2:45 to 7:15 p.m, Oct. 25 and the fee is only $20 per child.

The YMCA instructional basketball program starts Oct. 11. Sign up your child to learn this great game that started at a YMCA back in 1892. This program is for grades K through fifth and is only $25 for members and $35 for others. Lessons will be held on Saturday afternoons and each week will have a different skill to learn.

Karate and ballet/dance sign up continues. Different levels of each are available so come on in and sign up for your classes.

Hope to see you at the Y!
