• Third annual Bayfront Summer Boat Show, 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Friday, Bayfront, corner of Goodlette-Frank Road and U.S. 41 East, Naples. The three-day event includes more than 60 boats on display in the water and another more than 40 boats on display on land. • Endangered Species Day at Naples Zoo, 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Friday, 1590 Goodlette-Frank Road, across from Coastland Center, Naples. The Friends of the Florida Panther Refuge mark the nation's third annual Endangered Species Day, a celebration of America’s commitment to protecting and recovering our country’s rare, threatened and endangered plant and animal species. At the Naples Zoo, guests will learn about endangered animals around the planet at exhibits and shows. The Zoo is offering free tickets to guests who join the Friends of the Florida Panther Refuge at the Zoo on Endangered Species Day. When a Zoo guest joins at the Friends $25 individual level on Friday at the booth in front of the Zoo entrance, the Zoo will donate an adult zoo ticket valued at $18.75. www.napleszoo.org

• Sea Turtle Festival, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Conservancy of Southwest Florida, 1450 Merrihue Drive, Naples. The rescued sea turtle in the Conservancy Discovery Center is almost big enough to be released. Come celebrate and say goodbye with food, prizes and activities. The first 100 people will receive free T-shirts. A turtle costume contest will be held from 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. www.conservancy.org
