The Marco Island Charter Middle School team has been aces so far, winning both its matches.
The Eagles co-ed team edged Naples YMCA/Community School, 9-8 and walloped Gulfview Middle School, 13-6, last week.
“We have done quite well since we try to give all the kids a chance to play a set of singles and doubles,” coach Connie Kormanyos said.
Members of the team include Kyle Adams, Alex Barrett, Kevin and Matt Benito, Tyler Canady, Trevor Conte, Gage Daly, Samantha Howard, Sean Limardic, Partick Okena, Tyler Roddy, Eli Smith and alternates, Sam Hines and Drake Dillon.
The Eagles host Collier Parks at 5 p.m. on Wednesday at the Marco YMCA and travel to The Strand to play First Baptist Academy at 4 p.m. on Thursday.
