Worship at Marco Lutheran, 525 N. Collier Blvd., will have special significance for seven youths who have been preparing for the Rite of Confirmation. During the 8 a.m. service on March 16, Palm Sunday, they will make public confession of the faith in which they were baptized.

They are Kameron Kutzke, George Sherman, Connor Knox, Jenna Canfield, David Wheeler, Morgan Gastineau, and Jenna Lundquist.

All worshippers in both the 8 and 11 a.m. Palm Sunday services will receive a palm cross to wear.

The members of the Marco Lutheran Choir will carry palm branches as they process into the sanctuary. They will sing the anthem “Rejoice, the Lord is King” by Craig Courtney.

Pastor Ron Biel will officiate at the Rite of Confirmation, and deliver the homily for the day.
