Seen any good movies lately? Oh gosh, yes, “The Bucket List” (with Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman).
What did you like about the film? It’s real life; it’s what we all should do if we were told we were going to die soon. They make a list of what they always wanted to do, and then they do it. It could pertain to us, and we shouldn’t wait until we’re almost ready to die before we do those things.
Do you go to the movies often? We (she and husband Scott) go every Friday unless we’re on vacation. If we miss a Friday, then we go on Saturday.
How many movies have you seen in the past year? I would say about 35 or 40. I don’t rent many DVDs, but I have On Demand. Most of the time I prefer to go to the movies because you don’t get phone calls while you’re watching, and have to get up.
What’s your favorite theater? Marco Movies, because it’s small and comfortable. You can dine there, and most of the time we do. I’ve known Nick (Campo, the general manager) for a long time, and my daughter Tracy worked for him for a long time. It’s a nice hometown theater, and we should all support it.
Who’s your favorite actor or actress? Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts, and of course I did see “Charlie Wilson’s War.” It was funny, but also real. I had no idea about those things when they were happening, because I didn’t pay attention to real events. I’ve actually watched every Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts movie ever made.
