Juvenile criminal mischief

Dylan Gober, 15, and Kian James McDonald, 15, of Marco Island were arrested and are being charged with felony criminal mischief in the areas of Heathwood Drive, Beachcomber Street, Flamingo Circle, Landmark Street and Columbus Way. Twenty-three incidents were reported of damage to several homeowners’ mailboxes and sprinkler systems between July 20 and Aug. 2. Dylan was charged with two counts of felony criminal mischief and five counts of misdemeanor criminal mischief. Kian was charged with one felony count of criminal mischief. Gober and McDonald were transported to the Department of Juvenile Justice Center. Total estimated value of damage is unknown at this time.

Grand theft

Dustin A. Orr , 16 of West Jourdan, UT was placed under arrest at the Marco Island Police Department where he turned himself in for a prior theft that occurred at a 7-Eleven Store, 641 South Collier Blvd. He was taken to the Naples Jail Center 2:30 p.m., Aug. 21.

Grand theft

Stuart Jennings reported that someone stole two outboard motor lower units from his boat located at 1621 Caxambas Court between 7:30 a.m., July 28, and 8 a.m., Aug. 4. Total estimated value of stolen property is approximately $1,2000. The investigation continues.

Grand theft

Todd Chait reported that someone stole a cover to a boat engine at Walker’s Marine, 785 Bald Eagle Drive between 2 p.m., Aug. 15, and 2:30 p.m., Aug. 18. The investigation continues.

Criminal arrest warrant

Officers were dispatched to a disturbance at 2069 San Marco Road at 12:05 p.m., Aug. 20. After investigation was completed Mary Elizabeth Thurston, 50, was placed under arrest for a criminal arrest warrant for violation of probation. She was taken to the Naples Jail Center.

Theft from a vehicle

Russell Zuidema reported that someone entered his unlocked car at 171 Bonita Court between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., Aug. 22. Zuidema reported that miscellaneous items were stolen. Estimated valued is $70. The investigation continues.

Domestic battery

Officers responded to a domestic disturbance at 1250 Aruba Court. Lauren Flynn reported that her ex-husband, Bob Flynn, 53, assaulted her at 12:40 p.m., Aug. 23. After investigation was completed Flynn, also of 1250 Aruba Court, was placed under arrest and taken to the Naples Jail Center.
