On behalf of the Marco Island YMCA, we would like to thank the community for the overwhelming support of our 13th Dottie’s Duck Derby.
Over 100 people attended this special event which was held at the YMCA aquatic center. The business community and our corporate sponsors were extremely generous again this year. Numerous volunteers also contributed to our success by organizing, setting up the day of the event, decorating, supervising the races, tearing down and cleaning up. We could not have accomplished this success without our wonderful volunteers!
Proceeds from this event will be used for YMCA aquatic programs including replacement of a motor on the heating and cooling system and a pool pump motor. Any additional funds will be used to purchase new pool furniture for Dottie’s pavilion.
Thank you all for your participation in this successful fundraising event.
