Short-term projects to affect drivers in coming week in Collier

These are some of the short-term road projects expected to affect traffic in the coming week.

At various locations, lighted arrow boards, advance warning signs and barricades will be used to assist motorists traveling through the area. Law officers also may be present in construction zones.

County transportation officials listed these among the projects:

**Airport-Pulling Road between Golden Gate Parkway and Pine Ridge Road – On Airport-Pulling Road northbound between Golden Gate Parkway and Pine Ridge Road, expect traffic to be diverted from three lanes to two lanes on Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. as crews repair curbs.

**Collier Boulevard between Tower Road and the S.S. Jolley Bridge – On Collier Boulevard both northbound and southbound expect traffic to continue to be diverted from two lanes to one lane, intermittently, for a week beginning on Monday from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. as crews restripe the road and place reflective markers in the pavement.

**Davis Boulevard between U.S. 41 and Unity Way – On Davis Boulevard both eastbound and westbound between U.S. 41 and Airport-Pulling Road expect traffic to be diverted from three lanes to two lanes and between Airport-Pulling Road and Unity Way expect traffic to be diverted from two lanes to one lane. This will be for a week beginning Monday from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. as crews restripe the roadway and place reflective markers in the pavement.

**Immokalee Road between I-75 and Collier Boulevard – On Immokalee Road between I-75 and Collier Boulevard expect traffic to be diverted from two lanes to one lane, both eastbound and westbound, intermittently, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., as crews complete construction of traffic signal mast arm bases at various intersections. It is part of the Immokalee Road (I-75 to Collier Boulevard) widening project.

**U.S. 41 between Pine Ridge Road and Pelican Bay Boulevard – On U.S. 41 both northbound and southbound between Pine Ridge Road and Pelican Bay Boulevard expect traffic to be diverted from three lanes to two lanes on Monday from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and to again be diverted from three lanes to two lanes for a week from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., beginning on Tuesday as crews do median modifications.

**Airport-Pulling Road between Pine Ridge Road and Rustic Oaks Circle – On Airport-Pulling Road southbound between Pine Ridge Road and Rustic Oaks Circle expect traffic to be diverted from three lanes to two lanes on Monday through Friday as FPL crews transfer wires to a new electric power pole.

**Goodlette-Frank Road between Pine Ridge Road and Golden Gate Parkway – On Goodlette-Frank Road northbound between Pine Ridge Road and Golden Gate Parkway expect traffic to be diverted from three lanes to two lanes on Monday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. as FPL crews replace an electric power pole.
