An accident near the Daniels Parkway exit on Interstate 75 caused the highway to be shutdown Sunday night at mile marker 131, according to the Florida Highway patrol.
One person has died in the crash, according to the FHP.
Southbound traffic was for a time rerouted off the interstate to Colonial Boulevard. The roadblock has since been cleared and traffic is once again allowed southbound on I-75
Lt. Darren Sapp of the Florida Highway Patrol said his office received a call reporting the accident at 7:34 p.m. Sunday
