Short-term road projects to affect traffic in coming week in Collier

Drivers using Collier County roads will encounter some short-term work projects in the coming days.

Lighted arrow boards, advance warning signs, barricades or officers will be used to assist motorists traveling through the areas.

These projects include:

**Along Collier Boulevard between Tower Road and the Judge S.S. Jolley Bridge. On Collier Boulevard both northbound and southbound, traffic is to continue to be diverted from two lanes to one lane for a week overnight from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. as crews restripe the roadway and place reflective markers in the pavement.

**Davis Boulevard between U.S. 41 and Unity Way. On Davis Boulevard both eastbound and westbound between U.S. 41 and Airport-Pulling Road, traffic will be funneled from three lanes to two lanes and between Airport-Pulling Road and Unity Way expect traffic to be diverted from two lanes to one lane, at times, for a week overnight from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., weather permitting, as crews restripe the roadway and place reflective markers in the pavement.

**Green Boulevard between Sunshine Boulevard and Collier Boulevard. On Green Boulevard eastbound between Sunshine Boulevard and Collier Boulevard, traffic will be reduced from two lanes to one lane on Monday through Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. as crews do maintenance in the right of way.

**Immokalee Road between I-75 and Collier Boulevard. On Immokalee Road between Interstate 75 and Collier Boulevard, traffic is to be diverted from two lanes to one lane, both eastbound and westbound, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. during the next three weeks as crews complete construction of traffic signal mast arm bases at various intersections as part of the Immokalee Road (I-75 to Collier Boulevard) widening project.

**U.S. 41 between St. Andrews Boulevard and Barefoot Williams Road. On U.S. 41 between St. Andrews Boulevard and Barefoot Williams Road, there will be intermittent lane closures both eastbound and westbound for the next week from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. as crews install landscaping.

**Goodlette-Frank Road between Pine Ridge Road and Golden Gate Parkway. On Goodlette-Frank Road, northbound between Pine Ridge Road and Golden Gate Parkway, expect traffic to be diverted from three lanes to two lanes through Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. as FPL crews replace a power pole.
