Marco's McCabe, Fort Myers' Tolles advance to PGA Tour Q-School finals

Marco Island resident Tee McCabe advanced to the PGA Tour Qualifying School Finals by finishing in a tie for eighth in Second Stage qualifying at Lake Jovita Country Club on Saturday.
McCabe, who played this season on the Nationwide Tour, shot a final-round 71 to finish at 10-under par. The top 20 and ties advanced to the finals.
Fort Myers native Tommy Tolles also advanced, tying for 11th at 9-under. Former Naples resident Robbie Schulz tied for 65th and Fort Myers resident and former Florida Gulf Coast University golfer Derek Lamely tied for 69th.
The Finals are Nov. 28-Dec. 3 in Winter Park.
Part-time Naples resident Colby Beckstrom missed advancing by two shots at the qualifier in Panama City Beach. Beckstrom had a final-round 73 to tie for 31st, and birdied the last two holes. Fort Myers' Nolan Henke tied for 64th.
Former FGCU golfer Joey Lamielle tied for 52nd in McKinney, Texas, and failed to advance. Former LaBelle High golfer Christo Greyling did advance, tying for seventh in Maricopa, Calif.
