With Veterans Day falling on a Sunday this year, many government services will continue as usual on Monday but others won’t.
Garbage and recycling collection will stay on the normal schedule Monday in Naples, as well as in unincorporated Collier County, Naples and Marco Island, according to agency officials and Web sites.
Some government agencies will be open as usual on Mondays. Collier County schools and offices are open; a number of schools will hold Veterans Day observances Monday.
However, Collier County government offices and Naples City Hall are closed Monday to observe the holiday.
The U.S. Postal Service will deliver Express Mail only on Monday; there will be no regular mail delivery. Post offices are closed.
Some businesses and lending institutions will be closed for transacting regular business.
