U.S. Rep. Connie Mack, R-Ft. Myers and Lt. Gov. Jeff Kottkamp will be guest speakers at the Business Leadership and Sustainable Future breakfast forum next month. The event, coordinated by the Conservancy of Southwest Florida, will be July 16 from 8 to 9:30 a.m. at the Norris Auditorium in Naples.
Mack and Kottkamp will join Conservancy President and CEO Andrew McElwaine to speak about economic growth and environmental protection.
"Southwest Florida business leaders have an important role to play in protecting our environment and influencing the decisions that will sustain our quality of life and economic vitality in the region," said Barbara Wilson, director of marketing and communications for the Conservancy. "This breakfast forum concentrates on balancing economic growth and environmental protection — and the difference business leaders can make."
The conservancy and the law firm Cohen & Grigsby are sponsoring the free event. Reservations must be made by July 9. Call 403-4200.
