It is easy to view videos and listen to audio from each City Council agenda item.

To view the video and audio for each agenda item, scroll down in the middle of the front page to the City Council agendas/minutes section. Then click on the latest City Council meeting agenda link. Next, scroll down to the agenda item you want to watch or listen to and click the link.

The videos and audio’s of the meeting will stay online until the next scheduled meeting. Video and audio of the newer meeting will replace the old, according to Lisa Douglass, Marco Island public information coordinator.

“It’s an additional way for residents to become involved in their city and watch the video and audio of the most recent council meeting,” Douglass said. “It’s our goal to foster new communication.”

She added that citizens can participate and work together with the city when they know the facts about what officials have planned for the island.

“This is an additional tool to help foster good public communication,” Douglass said. “Effective communication benefits citizens and helps the city meet goals in many ways.”
