Frank E. Mackle, Jr., said he was “quite excited and extremely interested.” Key Deltona people have flown to Phoenix and Tucson as a possible land and community development project.

Taino and Arawak Indians lived in the pre-Spanish Caribbean islands such as Cuba and Hispaniola (now Haiti and the Dominican Republic). The root language of the Ciboney and Calusa is very close to Arawak.

About  2:30 p.m. Saturday, a white Ford F-150 or F-250 pickup was seen parked at a home under construction at 473 Parkhouse Court. Items are missing from the home, the police department reports. The Marco Island Police Department has released photographs of the truck and a man seen at the home. This person of interest is being sought by Marco Police.

Kevin Hennings, 35 is Thursday at Capt. Briens. Hennings, a single father of two young boys, was severely injured in an off duty jet ski accident Sept. 21. Capt. Brien will donate the $20 cost for each comedy club ticket to assist Hennings with his medical bills. When purchasing tickets at the door mention support for Hennings, said representatives of the Off the Hook Comedy Club in a Wednesday press release.
