Description: The Islamic Center for PEACE is set to engage the public in South West Florida. The center has developed a six week series of classes designed to educate the people about Islam. This will also allow the public to personally engage with Muslims and ask important questions concerning their fears or misunderstandings about Islam. Extreme emphasis will be placed on explaining Islam, the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), the Quran, Women in Islam, the History of Islam, and Contemporary Issues surrounding Islam.

It’s a common question; “Why don’t we hear from the Muslims”? Here’s the chance! The classes will be held once a week in Naples and Fort Myers. In Naples the dates are Sundays 03 May 2008 to 07 June 2008 at the Naples Regional Library from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.

In Fort Myers the classes will be held Mondays 12 May 2008 to 16 June 2008 at the Islamic Center for PEACE from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. All are invited to attend and there is no charge for admittance.

The Islamic Center for PEACE is a dual purpose not for profit religious organization located in Fort Myers Florida. The mission is it to serve as a center for quality and spiritual learning, and development. It also serves as a community center dedicated to promoting progress, education, awareness, cooperation, and enlightenment within the Islamic community and the local community at large.
