Dueling Pianjos Dinner Show

Featuring Bobby Gideons & Bob Leary

When: Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2006, 7 p.m.

Where: Erin's Isle, 7110 Collier Boulevard, Naples, Fl

Cost: Free

Age limit: All ages

Categories: Classical, Folk

Description: Bob Gideons and Bob Leary sell nostalgia.

Well, nostalgia and a funny name — Dueling Pianjos. The name of their act comes from the instruments they play — keyboards for Gideons and banjo for Leary — and a song Leary is almost always requested to perform.

By the end of the first song of the night — "Dueling Banjos," of course — there's a steady chorus of hand claps keeping the beat. Halfway through the next tune, "Roll the Patrol," half the crowd is singing along.

The show is free but reservations are strongly suggested! For reservations call 774-1880.
