Moe’s hosting fundraiser for bone marrow transplant recipient

Posted June 25, 2008

Moe’s Southwest Grill, at 1016 Immokalee Road, is holding a fundraiser Saturday for the family of Garrett Kaulbars, an 8-year-old Naples boy who had a bone marrow transplant last month for a rare blood disorder.

The restaurant is donating 25 percent of its proceeds to the family fund to help with expenses for his care. The restaurant is open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Only the Immokalee Road location is taking part in the fundraiser.

For more information about the boy’s condition, go to the Web site, www.garrett.faithweb.com.
